Who They Are

Julian Ong Endoscopy & Surgery (Pte Ltd) is a Singapore practice covering endoscopy of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract alongside colorectal work, from perianal surgery to minimally invasive surgery of the colon and rectum, whether the condition is benign or malignant. It belongs to a group of Medisave accredited clinics spread across Singapore.

The man behind the name is Dr Ong Kian Peng, Julian, a consultant general and colorectal surgeon. Endoscopy, minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer, robotic-assisted surgery and trauma surgery are his areas of interest, and he teaches as an accredited instructor on the Advanced Trauma Life Support programme.

The Brief

What We Set Out To Do

Honestly, nobody enjoys talking about their colon. So the first job of this site was to make common conditions of the colon, rectum and anus feel like nothing to be embarrassed about, and the second was to make booking a consultation the simplest step on the page. Up top, a photo of the waiting area sits behind Book a Consultation and Read More buttons. An About section says in plain words why getting checked early matters, and Dr Ong is introduced right after.

Then a purple booking card is paired with three services described in everyday terms, a map with regional tabs covers both clinics with their addresses, phone numbers and opening hours, and a Contact Us banner rounds things off. The phone number and email never leave the top of the page.
