Technical SEO

A Faster, Cleaner Site That Search Engines Understand

Slow pages, crawl errors and missing schema quietly cap your rankings, and no amount of content fixes them. We find the problems, fix them properly and show you the before and after numbers. WordPress and Elementor are our bread and butter, and we publish our own speed test results rather than asking you to take our word for it.

The Unfair Advantage

Remove The Ceiling On Your Rankings

Did you know? A page that takes five seconds to load on a phone is competing with one hand tied behind its back, no matter how good the content is.

That is the unfair advantage of getting the technical side right. Speed, Core Web Vitals, clean indexing and schema are invisible to you and your visitors, but Google sees every one of them. Fix them and everything else you do, every article, every ad, every landing page, works better at once. Most of your competitors on WordPress have never had this done. Their sites are weighed down by page builders, twenty plugins and uncompressed images.

Can you rank without it? Sometimes, in a quiet market. But what if I tell you that a technical fix is the only kind of SEO work that can show an effect within weeks rather than months?

Advantage #1

A Faster Site That Keeps Visitors And Rankings

People leave slow pages before they load. Every one of them was a potential enquiry that an ad or an article already paid for. Google knows this, which is why Core Web Vitals are a ranking signal.

We optimise images, caching and scripts, and we look hard at your hosting, because cheap shared hosting will not get you there no matter how many plugins you add. We have been tuning WordPress and Elementor for more than a decade, and we publish our own speed test results rather than asking you to take our word for it.

Honestly, 90+ on mobile for an Elementor site is a very good result, and we will tell you that rather than chase a perfect lab score that real users never feel.

Advantage #2

Every Page Google Should Find, Found

Articles that Google can’t crawl or index might as well not exist. Pages that compete with each other for the same keyword split the ranking between them and none of them wins. Crawl errors pile up in Search Console that nobody has looked at in a year.

We clean up sitemaps, robots rules, canonicals and duplicate content so Google crawls the right pages and skips the rest. Then schema markup tells it what each page actually is: your business, your services, your articles, your FAQs.

What if I tell you that some of the sites we audit have their best pages blocked by a setting someone ticked years ago? It happens more than you would think.

Advantage #3

Trust That Survives A Redesign

Migrations are where most sites lose rankings. A redesign, a new platform or a new domain done wrong can throw away years of trust in a week, and you won’t notice until the enquiries stop.

We map every old URL to its new home with 301 redirects, check everything before and after launch, and watch Search Console for weeks afterwards. The trust you earned moves with you.

This is not the place to save money. We would rather tell you that plainly than fix it afterwards, which costs more and takes longer.

Who It's For

When Technical SEO Is The Bottleneck

Not every site needs this. If your PageSpeed scores are already green and Search Console is quiet, your money is better spent on content. If not, start here.

  • Slow WordPress Sites

Sites weighed down by page builders, too many plugins and uncompressed images, scoring in the red on PageSpeed Insights.

  • Website Migrations

A redesign, a platform change or a new domain. Done wrong, you lose years of rankings in a week.

  • Indexing Problems

Pages missing from Google, duplicate content, or crawl errors piling up in Search Console that nobody has looked at.

  • Sites With No Schema

Your business, services, articles and FAQs mean nothing to Google until they are marked up so it can read them.

What's Included

What The Technical SEO Service Covers

A full technical pass, with every change documented so you know exactly what was done.

  • Technical Audit

A full crawl of your site, a Search Console review and a prioritised list of issues ranked by how much they matter, not how many there are.

  • Speed & Core Web Vitals

Image optimisation, caching, script cleanup and a hosting review to improve LCP, INP and CLS. The tools we use on our own sites, like WP Rocket and ShortPixel, where they fit.

  • Schema Markup

Structured data for your organisation, services, articles, products and FAQs, so Google understands what each page is and can show it properly.

  • Indexing & Crawlability

Sitemaps, robots rules, canonicals and duplicate content cleaned up so Google crawls the right pages and skips the rest.

  • Migration Protection

Every old URL mapped to its new home with 301 redirects, so a redesign or platform move doesn’t cost you the rankings you earned.

  • Before & After Report

Every change documented, with before and after measurements from PageSpeed Insights and Search Console. You see the difference in numbers, not adjectives.

Our Technical SEO Process

How A Technical SEO Project Runs

Careful and measured. Nothing changes on your live site without a plan and a backup.

  1. 01

    Crawl & Measure

The hardest part is knowing exactly where we are starting from. We run a full crawl of your site, take a Core Web Vitals baseline on real mobile conditions and go through your Search Console for every error nobody has looked at. You give us access to Search Console, GA4 and your website. At the end of this step we both have the same numbers in front of us, and we will know whether technical work is actually your bottleneck or whether content is.

  2. 02

    Prioritise

Issues are ranked by how much they matter, not by how many there are. You get a short list, in plain English, with the impact and the effort of each fix. Nothing is touched until you have agreed to it. If something depends on a plugin we want to remove, we check with you first. Honestly, this is the simplest step for you: read the list, ask questions, approve.

  3. 03

    Fix

At this stage your job is done, and ours has just begun. Changes are made on a staging copy wherever possible, tested, then deployed carefully to the live site with a backup in place. Images, caching, scripts, schema, redirects, sitemaps, canonicals, in order of impact. We use the same tools we use on our own sites, like WP Rocket and ShortPixel, where they fit, and we document every change so you know exactly what was done.

  4. 04

    Verify

We re-measure the same numbers we took at the start, request re-indexing in Search Console and hand over a before-and-after report. You see the difference in numbers, not adjectives. For migrations, we keep watching Search Console for weeks afterwards. If the next step is rewriting the pages you already have, or new content, rather than more code, we say so.

Technical SEO Pricing

If you’re looking for a “cheap” or a quick one-and-done service.

We’re probably not the best fit.

And to be honest, no site was ever made fast and clean by installing one more plugin. Technical SEO done properly means measuring first, changing things carefully on a staging copy and measuring again. That takes a bit of time and someone who has broken enough sites in the past to know how not to.

A few honest notes. Nobody can guarantee a PageSpeed score of 100 or a ranking position, so we don’t. What we promise is passing Core Web Vitals for real users wherever the platform allows it, every change documented, and a before-and-after report in numbers. One-time projects are 50% deposit, 50% on completion.

The following are our estimated starting prices based on similar sites in the past. The true investment can only be confirmed after the initial review, once both parties understand the scope. If you already have an idea in mind, contact us directly to get a quote.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most. If yours is not here, just ask.

Will My PageSpeed Score Reach 100?
Sometimes. A clean WordPress install on good hosting scores 100 out of the box. Add a page builder, a theme and twenty plugins and it drops fast. The goal is passing Core Web Vitals for real users, not a perfect lab score. We will give you realistic targets after the audit, and honestly, 90+ on mobile for an Elementor site is a very good result.
Do You Work On WordPress Sites?
Yes, WordPress is our specialty, including Elementor and Oxygen builds. It is what we have built hundreds of personal brand websites on. We also work on Shopify and modern frameworks like Astro and Next.js.
Will Fixing Technical Issues Improve My Rankings?
It removes the barriers holding your rankings back, which often helps on its own. But content and relevance matter too. We will be honest about what technical fixes alone can do, and tell you if the next step is content, not more code.
Can You Help With A Website Migration?
Yes. We map every old URL to its new home, set up 301 redirects, check everything before and after launch, and watch Search Console for weeks afterwards to protect your traffic. Migrations are where most sites lose rankings, so this is not the place to save money.
Does Hosting Matter For Speed?
More than most people think. We have run the same WordPress setups on the managed cloud hosting we use for clients: 100 on a fresh install, high 90s on desktop with Elementor, before any optimisation. Cheap shared hosting will not get you there no matter how many plugins you add. If hosting is the bottleneck, we will say so, and our hosting and maintenance plans can take it off your hands.
Will You Break My Site?
No. Changes are made on a staging copy wherever possible, tested, and deployed with a backup in place. You get a list of everything that changed. If something on your site depends on a plugin we want to remove, we check with you first.

Our Guarantees

Promises We Put In Writing

We would rather work for free than see an unhappy client. These are the guarantees every project comes with.

Our Time Is Limited

Fixing a site properly takes a significant amount of time and attention, because nothing should change on a live site without a plan and a backup, and we want every client to get the attention they deserve. So we only onboard a handful of new projects each month. If you are remotely interested in getting started, we strongly suggest you contact us today to reserve a slot.
